Pura Tanah Lot......

The entrance to Tanah Lot temple..........

Tanah Lot in Balinese language means 'land in the middle of the sea' and 'pura' means temple. Pura Tanah Lot is one of the seven sea temples built along the Balinese coast. It was built on an offshore huge black lava rock in the 15th century by a Hindu priest. Til today after some upgrading work done to it, it stands out in a beautiful setting along the coast facing the Indian ocean making it one of the famous tourist attraction in Bali. More pics to share of this beautiful place.........

I must visit this country one of these days. You free to come along, ha ha.

I really miss the sea as here only Lake Ontario...but can be mistaken for sea.
By the way, can I have this waltz with you...enjoying your waltz music.
You stay beautiful and don't forget the red lipstick, have a great weekend, Lee.

beachlover - the many sorvenir shops along the path leading to the temple is a great place for shopping. A good place to bargain but very time consuming.

I've been there a few years back. The island is so tranquil. Rem the Tana Lot Temple too. Did you see the snake cave?

Incidentally, the background colour of your blog is the colour my designer recomends for my new place - some snowy grey!

sho - the place is amazingly beautiful. Don't know whether there are big snakes inside the cave, I freak out at the sight of the fearful reptile...
