This is the first time I cook brussel sprouts. As I had read about it being so good for our body, I bought one little packet from Tesco eventhough its quite pricey ( the reason for holding back buying it for so long).
So I google for a recipe online and cook it shredded with some onions and bacon. It has a bittersweet flavor to me and son H suprisingly said its good. Forgot to ask son R's opinion as he dislike cook vege except for salads. So anyone with better ideas how to cook this Asian style?

I always stir-fry it with dried shrimps & garlic and season with oyster sauce. I cut it into half or quarter, never shredded it.
I enjoy brussel sprouts. Used to eat quite a bit of them in the uk. Somehow, boiled and tossed in some butter suited me fine:)
Hardly eat them here except with turkey etc.
Easy way is to roast them whole in the oven with bacon fat if available, or just some olive oil, sea salt and fresh grd pepper. The asian way would be to cut into half and fry with sambal and add lime juice before serving.
cook it in any style, not necessary that it fits into asian style
