Here are some of the food we ordered.......
A big plate of kangkong fried with sambal belacan......rm 12
Deep-fry crabs.........the restaurant speciality....crispy and nice....rm 57
The big steamed fish......very fresh....too big for 8 of us....but we manage to finish it without eating much of the crabs.......we pack the crabs back to hotel...and kept in fridge....but forget to take home the next day......what a waste.....next time when we ordered we should see how big the fish really is before they cook it.....as we are all ladies except for our teenage son H.....we could not eat much....this is the most expensive dish...rm 77
Oyster omelette or Oh Chien........with lots of oyster........rm 12
The waitress recommended this otak-otak.....but is is nothing like the otak otak in Penang....it is soft egg bean curd wrapped in crispy bean curd skin...with a thin layer of otak in between the layers............nice as snack....rm 12
Soft shelled butter prawns or Hair Kor .......in butter and curry leaves...rm 18.
All these food for 8 persons plus 9 bowls of rice and and 2 big pots of tea in an air-conditioned room comes up to only rm 197...a big difference from the buffet dinner at hotel at rm 68 ++ per person.
