Bad Experience and Poor management @ Swiss Court Holiday Apartment..


My dear niece Lena, invited us for a family vacation at Swiss Garden Resort Damai Laut where she booked 2 apartments at the Swiss Court Holiday Apartment......(we had a terrible experience on our first time there....not about the place but the staff and management.....) my niece had on the morning before we left Penang for Damai Laut......faxed her payment for the booking of buffet breakfast at Swiss Garden Resort for the next day.......and were told to get the vouchers from the check-in counter......but when we reach there at around 6.00 pm.....we were told by a know-nothing staff...his excuse of being new there....that he will call us later about the vouchers.....when we wanted him to confirm whether we will get our vouchers or not or when he will call...... he just gave us a blank look and we told him we cannot spend our precious time there just waiting for his confirmation and whether we will have our breakfast the next morning......when he became rude and stupid by asking whether we were fighting with him....we ask him to call up the manager....and God knows what happen.....the manager is as unfriendly and not too happy to help type of person......by telling us that the office at Swiss Garden resort is closed and that without a comfirmation of black and white ...he cannot issue us the vouchers.....and keeps saying we have to understand......we REALLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND !!!.......how a manager cannot resolve a simple issue like that.....so we query about his boss.....whom he told us is his director in KL.....to which Janet asked " Don't you have a GM (general manager)..? I think this question just make him tune his stony brain....when he brings himself to ask ..the stupid question..(when we had been standing on the front desk for nearly 1 1/2 hrs.)....." What is your real problem ...? "......our problem is the reason for our long wait for our breakfast vouchers that they refuse to issue us just because the office staff had gone back and no black and white letter from them...so no vouchers. Then only did he ask for the original copy of our creditcard payment.........and issue us our vouchers without any apology for their bad service and rude and know-nothing staff.............And we had learnt our lessons.... not to stay in Swiss Court Holiday Apartment but Swiss Garden Resort the next time......we only learn later from the staff that the former had a different management .....no wonder the place are not as well kept as those in Swiss Garden......we had to ask for missing towels and clean changes of beddings in our rooms.......
For a so called 4 star hotel apartments they should train their staff to be not only well verse in their line of work but also able to resolve matters in a more flexible way to give their paying guest worthy of the money spent and a more comfortable stay instead of worries and stress..................
Later we had our late dinner at a sea- food restaurant 17 km away in Sitiawan....nothing to trust the place for an unclear menu given to us........

We had a great family time...but we did not get to see fireworks unfortunately...come to KL this year end..we shall have a merrier countdown for next!

Ya, Molly I had a great time with you all...great laughter...esp at the pool n by the beach.tks to Lena too for the apt. stay and the breakfast. ok next year we will have it at KL.

Yeeee!!!! we all had a nice time together..next year count down KLCC!! hehehe :P

next year we either do it at KLCC or the curve or genting....plan earlier...we spend the day in KL so that we dont get stuck in the jam to the city....oh yea..perhaps we just overnite at KL Swiss Garden..
