preparing the herb crust consisting of day old slices of bread,handful of parsley,coriander,thyme and rosemary sprigs and grated parmesan in a food processor.............
fine crumbs of bright green colour .....herb crust.......
the seasoned lamb leg chops.....with olive oil, sea salt and black pepper...to be seared in pan on both sides for 4 minutes each...before baking in the oven for 10 minutes ...then coated with the herb crust...and warm in oven for another 5 minutes....this is not the end of it....son made some brown sauce gravy with the drippings of the cooked lamb legs and some cream.....a baked potato gratin and a fried cabbage with bacon bits was served with this lamb leg....see next posting...

Oh wow! I'm impressed that a 19 year old guy can prepare all these. Gud job! Btw, Is he in shatec or sumthing. PErhaps he wanna be a chef? :)
maya - thks for dropping by...my teenage son is still in college... doing a professional chef training course.. he loves fine dining..but we cannot afford dine in these expensive places...so he has to cook himself the food..ha..ha..
You are welcome :) Oh i see. Well, personally I tink its way better to prepare such meals at home. E prices of fine dining scares me at time. In E back of my mind, I would be calculating tht a meal tht I ate there would be able to feed at least 4 If i were cook on my own.
It must be a good feeling to eat sumthing thts cooked by your son coz its always E other way round! Haha. I hope hes gonna cook more often for you guys so tht you can share more of his recipes and culinary adventures with us :)
