Hi Sweet Jasmine, wow! You sure one lady worth your weight in gold...your gourmet dishes, and this cake.
When I was a bachelor I always managed to escape from girls with strong maternal instincts, ha ha, but in the end got hooked like an haruan on a line by a beautiful SYT, who caught me....yes, she caught me, with her cooking!
And the dish? She had discreetly found out my favourite is hum choy pai kuat tong. And sambal belachan. Game over...she became my wife. Ha ha.
Also I made wrong move, sent her a dozen red roses, but only 11 was real, one a fake silk rose and wrote on the card, "I will love you till the last one dies".
So, now got to live up to my bagain, ha ha. But no regrets. Oh ya, she last night made another favourite of mine, Nonya kaya. And she not a Nonya too. A straight Cantonese, can't even speak Malay.
You have a beautiful Sunday, Lee.
ps, send me telegram when you cook hum choy, I invite myself over for dinner. Can? Ha ha. L.
little corner of mine - it is either you like this or hate it....
u.lee - so its quite true with the saying-"to get to a man's heart is through his stomach.....btw this is not a cake...it is a rice dish...u can ask yr wife to cook for you if you like cheesy dishes.....and yes i'll msn you when i cook ham choy and you fly over by canadian airline..lol
Have a nice day too...
Wow, that's lovely with individual portions for each person. Did you use plain long grain white rice? Will the sauce not made it soggy?
