Sunset & BBQ Dinner @ Jimbaran Bay.

Our first day in Bali was watching the beautiful sunset in Jimbaran Bay and having our dinner at the lovely sandy beach by the sea. Having seafood dinner with the sounds and sights of flapping waves a few steps away, cool winds blowing against your face, oil lamps lighting up the long stretch of beach under the starlit skies was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Here are some pics to share...........

One for the album....L to R: sis karen, ris, and me.

Before the sunset.................

Our table by the sea...................

The sequence of sunset in a few seconds...

An aeroplane taking off from Ngurah Rai airstrip next to Jimbaran Bay after sunset..........

Vegetable soup.........

Kangkung........ their popular vege......

Each of us gets a basket of BBQ seafood of a crab, shrimps, fish, deepfried squids, and clams eaten with hot rice..........

Hi Jasmine, wow! Talk about a romantic beach...now, this my kind of place to bring a lady for dinner. And your pics tells a lot too...the food looks really mouth watering...
By the way, you look real fabulous in 1st pic in the sunset. Beautiful pics.

Half expected to see you in a sarong, ha ha...you know what they say...'when in Rome...', ha ha.
You stay easy and have a great weekend, Lee.
ps, I can get the smell of the sea air looking at your lovely photos, ha ha.

Can I buy you dinner there one evening?

This must surely a wonderful experience. How many of us really get to dine in the beach with such a wonderful environment? By the way, I'm surprise that you dont get any Balinese cuisine in the package?

The sauces and spices in food tastes quite balinese...but we later had more chinese food then balinese cuisine in our package. Next time will go for more authentic balinese cuisine....
